Sheikh Khaled S Olayan, Chairman of the Saudi British Bank, expressed his delight in supporting the programme as they are keen to “support philanthropic and social programmes” and also mentioned “it’s noble objectives and the sizeable number of students who will benefit from the functions.”
The Saudi British Bank (www.sabb.com) was incorporated in 1978 and 40% of SABB’s shares are owned by the HSBC group, which is one of the world’s largest banking and financial services organisations. The remaining 60% are owned by individuals and institutional shareholders, predominantly Saudi citizens.
