Painting & Patronage is delighted to learn of the appointment of HRH Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz as the new Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia by decree of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.
Prince Nayef who was also named Vice Prime Minister has served as the Saudi Interior Minister since 1975 and was named in 2009 as Second Deputy Prime Minister.
Painting & Patronage was particularly honoured by the presence of the now Crown Prince Nayef at the 2001 opening of the Painting and Patronage programme which took place in Riyadh and featured an exhibition of paintings by HRH The Prince of Wales and HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal.
Painting & Patronage extends its warmest greetings to HRH Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz and the people of Saudi Arabia at this time.
