The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, has renewed the term of Makkah Governor, HRH Prince Khaled Al-Faisal. “The term of Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdul Aziz as Governor of the Makkah Province, with the rank of a Minister, has been extended for another four years effective from 3 April 2011,” a royal decree issued by the King said.
Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, who is also President of Painting & Patronage and Director General of the King Faisal Foundation, has played a major role in boosting the development of Makkah Province ever since His Royal Highness became the governor four years ago following the death of HRH Prince Abdul Majeed, the former governor.
